“Human Interest Story” by 3RDegree (NJ band)

This is the title track from the 1996 album/cd of the same name by NJ Prog-pop band 3RDegree. Their web page is here: http://www.3RDegreeONLINE.com.

3RDegree formed in 1990 and put out 2 albums-1993’s THE WORLD IN WHICH WE LIVE and 1996’s HUMAN INTEREST STORY before disbanding after a final performance at NYC’s CBGB’s in 1997. The band decided to complete songs left unfinished and write new ones for a new album over dinner in December of 2005. Demos were made and singer George Dobbs found over 2006 and at the end of the year, drum tracks were recorded for 18 songs! The first half of the songs were assembled into a CD that will be released in early 2008 along with a DVD/CD of the Reunion Concerts from April 2007.
